Shipping & Returns


Happy Holidays!

Until December 20, all domestic orders ship for FREE. 

After December 20, Heart's Desire Jewelry's offices will be closed for the holidays.  You can still place an order to reserve a one of a kind creation, but it will not ship until our office opens again on Jan. 2, 2018.

PAYMENTS:

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.  Items are charged to your credit card when they ship. If an item is on backorder, you will not be charged until the backordered item ships.

 SHIPPING:

All of my one of kind pieces and most of the limited edition items are ready to send and will be shipped to you asap.  My studio is based in New Bern, NC and ships Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Most in-stock items ship within 48 hours of ordering; however, some orders may take longer to process.

Due to the made-to-order nature of my limited edition jewelry, please allow up to 7 business days for me to fill your order. You will be notified via email when your order ships. Please feel free to email me if you need an item sooner or have questions about your order.

 US CUSTOMERS:

USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days delivery) - $7 flat rate includes shipping/handling and includes Delivery Confirmation.

USPS Express Mail (overnight delivery or 1 day, depending on time of your order) - $25 flat rate includes shipping/handling and includes Delivery Confirmation.

FedEx shipping is available to delivery in the continental US for a flat $36 charge. When your items are ready to ship, they are shipped via FedEx Standard Overnight and includes delivery tracking.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

First Class International (10-14 business days for delivery) is available for a flat rate of $25. Please note: this may not include customs/VAT charges as I am unable to calculate the charges in my shopping cart. This shipment method does not provide delivery tracking.

USPS Priority International Flat Rate (CANADIAN CUSTOMERS): (6-10 day delivery) to Canada is a flat rate of $25 for shipping and handling. Please note: this may not include customs/VAT charges as I am unable to calculate the charges in my shopping cart. This shipment method does not provide delivery tracking. Items shipped to Canada must pass through customs; please allow extra time for deliveries to Canadian addresses.

Duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency in Canada. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into Canada. Payment of any duties and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery. More information can be obtained by contacting your local customs office.

USPS Priority International Flat Rate REST OF WORLD INTERNATIONAL customers: (6-10 day delivery) shipments are a flat rate of $35 for shipping and handling. Please note: this may not include customs/VAT charges as I am unable to calculate the charges in my shopping cart. This shipment method does not provide delivery tracking.

USPS Express Mail International (delivery times vary by country) shipping is available to both Canadian and other international customers for a flat $65 charge and includes delivery tracking. Items shipped to international addresses must pass through customs; please allow extra time for deliveries to international addresses.

MILITARY APO/AFO:

Orders shipped to APO/AFO addresses are shipped via USPS. Shipments to APO/AFO addresses may be subject to longer transit times due to military processing. Once the package has been delivered to the APO/AFO point, Heart’s Desire Jewelry is not responsible for any possible delays or lost shipments.

PACKAGING:

I ship all items in a white jewelry gift box with a red ribbon tied around it. Please email me if you would like to include a hand written gift note.

RETURNS:

Heart’s Desire Jewelry is devoted to the fine work and craftsmanship that is put into every piece, as well as your customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your purchase for a refund of the cost of the item purchased within 7 business days of receipt of the product. Items are eligible for an exchange for up to 30 days after receipt of the product.  Typical turnaround time for returns & exchanges is approximately three weeks from the date of receipt. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Shipping charges are nonrefundable.

To make a return or an exchange, simply email with a reason for the return. Returned packages must include:

1. Unworn item(s) in the original condition

2. A copy of the invoice

3. Secured packaging with tracking

I will credit your account on the card used for purchase once the return is received. Please allow 10-14 days for credit to be processed. Please note it may take 1-2 billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement. I'm sorry, but there is no refund of Shipping/Handling on returned merchandise. *Please note, your financial institution may take up to 10 days or more to process your refund and credit your account.

SALES TAX

A 5.75% statewide tax will be applied to purchases shipping to North Carolina.
